Welcome to Quickbeam. By accessing the Quickbeam web application located at https://quickbeam.johnnylehane.com (including subdomains or relay mirrors) and/or installing the Quickbeam Roku Channel app (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). The Services are provided by JLC ("we", "our", or "us").

Quickbeam is a remote controller bridge designed to facilitate launching applications and video URLs onto Roku devices on your local network. The service utilizes Roku's External Control Protocol (ECP) over a local Wi-Fi connection paired with an ephemeral remote relay server.
By using the Services, you agree not to use the Services to:
The code, layouts, logos, designs, and content of the Services (excluding the official trademarks of third parties like Roku, YouTube, or Netflix) are the intellectual property of JLC or are licensed for our use. Quickbeam is made available as an open-source/hobby tool under the MIT license, subject to the conditions of that license.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF ERRORS OR BUG FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL JLC, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR ITS ASSOCIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Services or amend these Terms at any time without notice. Your continued use of the Services after modifications to the Terms indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
